Brendan was a student manager for the Miami Jacoby Brissett T Shirts (Ohio) men’s hockey team when he came out and planned to pursue a career in hockey. He was killed in a car accident in 2010 at age 21, and thecampaign was launched in his honor by his brother Patrick and two co-founders with a mi sion to eliminate homophobia and discrimination in sports.The NHL partnered with T.J.
